BTSCF Newsletter - April 2023
We’ve seen the April showers and can’t wait for the May flowers! There are many things going on at BTS, check it out…
In Case You Missed It…
We looked at CrossFit being A Sport For Life.
We broke down the Magic of CrossFit and whether it’s Magic or Real Science.
We looked at the cognitive benefits of CrossFit with stories about Parkinson’s Disease. We looked at Jules King and Scott Hanley.
We looked at the stories from Mark Minten, Sasha Gomez, and Rosemary Sarka and how their testimony is a test of CrossFit.
We also looked at how CrossFit Finds the Fittest on Earth.
New Gym Stuff
We added a new board to the gym to recognize the tenure of our athletes. We love what we do and without our athletes, we wouldn’t be able to do them. Some of our athletes have been with us since we opened in 2017, others found their way to us later. Our goal is to move our athletes toward lifelong health and fitness. Their dedication to themselves and allowing us to be a part of their journey is something we are extremely grateful for.
We also added another set of rings and replaced and improved some ropes.
When Was Your Last Nutrition Check Up?
Did you know we offer one on one nutrition coaching?
Our program starts with a free consultation so we can learn more about you as well as answer any questions you might have.
Once we get started, we will take some measurements, go over how we track your nutrition and set a plan.

Memorial Day Murph
Memorial Day is a day to remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. We will continue our tradition to complete the Hero Workout “Murph” on Memorial Day. “Murph” is in honor of LT. Michael P. Murphy who knowingly exposed himself to increased enemy gunfire in an attempt to gain a better position to transmit a call for help for his men. LT. Murphy lost his life on June 28, 2005 and was awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions on that day.
