BTSCF Newsletter - February 2024
The Open is here and that means spring is also right around the corner. Check out BTSCF this month.
The CrossFit Open
The Open is one of our corner stone events during the year. Each year our athletes get to test themselves over the course of three weeks. While the tests are challenging, all of our athletes are capable to tackling them. Last year, we had 63 of our athletes signed up for The Open. This year we surpassed our goal of 70 and are closing in on 80! As much fun as The Open is, the best part is the magic that happens when our community comes together. Still not signed up? There’s still time! Click here!
We are also excited about our 2nd Intramural Competition during The Open. All of our athletes, whether they are in the Open officially or not are on a team and will be able to earn points for their team each week. The winning team at the end of The Open will win a Pizza Party. May the best team win!
Points are earned by completing the workout during Friday Night Lights, wearing the weekly theme, logging scores on the CF games website, bringing spectators, and checking into the gym on social media.
At the end of the three weeks of fitness challenges, we will celebrate all that our community accomplished with our annual Open Closed Party on March 15th at the end of Friday Night Lights.
The winning team will have their Pizza Party on March 23rd.
Let’s have a great Open, BTSCF!!
