BTSCF Newsletter - November 2024
The holiday season is here and there has been so much going on at BTSCF!
PJ Stone Challenge
So many of our members participated in the PJ Stone Challenge to start off the month. Getting out of the gym and using the fitness we work on day in and day out is so much fun. The Stone Challenge included two different races: The Challenge and The Provocation. Both provide their own unique challenges and the joy of coming across the finish line at the top of the mountain. Congratulations to all who ran the race.
Food Drive & Kettlebells For A Cause
To say we are grateful is an understatement. The number of food donations that you brought in left us both in awe and humbled by your generosity. When we started planning Kettlebells for a Cause, we weren’t sure how much we could raise and of course, the BTSCF community showed up in force. Seeing everyone swinging their kettlebells was so much fun! We would also like to thank all of the sponsors who helped make both the food drive and Kettlebells for a Cause such a success.
The Deck
It’s one of our favorite traditions. We had two full classes this year working their way through the deck, tackling sit ups, burpees, push press, and air squats. You never know how many reps or which movement will come up. Thank you to all who joined us!
BTSCF Clothing Drive
Our annual Clothing Drive will kick off on December 7th, running through December 14th. All donations will be delivered to the Port Jervis Warming Station. All warm clothing items are greatly appreciated. The Warming Station is specifically in need of warm coats and warm shoes or boots.
Embroidered Sweatshirt Drop
After seeing the sweatshirts that were delivered, are you questioning if you should have purchased a different color or style? No worries, we are taking orders for another production run of sweatshirts. Get your orders in by December 7th.
BTSCF Holiday Party
Our BTS Holiday Party will take place on December 14th at 5pm. Please RSVP on the whiteboard. There will be a food sign up sheet on the desk if you’d like to bring a dish to share.
We can’t wait for the White Elephant Gift Exchange! Bring in a wrapped gift valued at about $20 to participate.
